Jarltech 2009 CCD Barcode Scanner

The Jarltech 2009 is the easy entry to the world of professional data capture. Due to its universal features, it suits barcode reading applications in point-of-sales or offices as well as in laboratories, warehouses or industrial areas. The competitive price also makes the 2009 the ideal unit for upgrading or replacing existing solutions.

The stabile and compact housing inherits all parts of the maintenance-free optical unit as well as all logic for decoding. External decoder boxes are not neccessary with the 2009. After reading the code, the scanner uses a keyboard emulation to transmit the data to the PC; all barcode information appears on the screen as if typed on the keyboard.

With this intelligent technique, the 2009 adds barcode functionality to any software and to any operating system immediately.

To actualize high resistance against shocks, falls or hits, the scanner’s optic was developed without moving parts. In contrast, laser scanners are using a rotating mirror, which makes them more sensitive to rough treatement by careless operators.

Programming the scanner’s decoder (for example connection mode, enable barcode types, prefix or postfix, adjustment to incompatible keyboard ports and much more) is done with the included barcode programming tables. To make any changes, just scan the appropriate programming code and the function is set up.

The 2009 has a durable microswitch to activate the scanning process on the bottom. Set to »continous-scan« mode, the unit also can read continously.

As an option, we offer a rubber scanner holder to cradle the unit when not in use.
