The CR-4000 is a modern Posiflex cash drawer. It is wider, deeper and longer than the CR-3100. The CR-4000 comes with 5 coin and 5 bill fixed compartments. There is a coin roll storage compartment behind the bill compartments. The CR-4000 has a "Screwless" tamper resistant design and a special feature cushions drawer slams and protects the system. The chassis and drawer have durable metal construction with high reliability and durability (MTBF over 1 million open/close)
This drawer has many interfaces available. These are RJ11 printer-driven to connect to an Epson, Samsung Bixolon, Star or similar printer, a dedicated RS232 and USB. An all-in-one intelligent model meets both application of RS232 and parallel interface requirements.

.CR-4X04: RS232 dedicated cash drawer (This dedicated RS232 cash drawer can only be used with a PC tower as it draws its power from an expansion slot ( see page 4 in the user manual below) if the drawer is to be used with a laptop or touch screen epos terminal and a serial connection is needed the CR4001/2/3 all in one interface cash drawer would be required.
